Ukraine crisis perspective in 2023
The year 2022 ended and the world welcomed 2023 with congratulatory messages and fireworks in many predominantly Christian cities and wished each other a good year. A wish that is repeated at the beginning of every year, but unfortunately, due to the desire for power of the governments, especially the big powers, it does not come true, and every year in some parts of the world, war is clear.

The most important event that happened in 2022 and attracted the attention of the world in the political, military, economic, even sports, cultural and artistic fields was the entry of the Russian army into the territory of its neighbor Ukraine, which in the eyes of many analysts, was caused by the developmentist provocations of the countries Western and NATO. Now, after almost ten months have passed and on the eve of the beginning of the new year and entering 2023, the military and bloody conflict continues in Ukraine, and it is not clear what will be the fate of this event and where will it end? Will the military conflict in Ukraine end in the new year or will it continue until the end of this year? In connection with the above event, several things happened in the last days of 2022, which indicate that Russia on the one hand, and Ukraine and the United States on the other hand are strengthening their positions, and the strengthening of positions can both promise the end of the conflict and It could indicate its continuation.

On the Ukrainian front, the approval of the US$107 trillion budget for 2023, in which the amount of 44.9 billion dollars was allocated for arms assistance to Ukraine, shows the further arming of Ukraine and the continuation of the conflict. In principle, the approval of such an amount means that America is active and serious in keeping the fire of the military conflict in Ukraine burning and wants to keep the flood of weapons flowing towards Ukraine in order to force Russia to retreat; As the Secretary General of NATO said, “Military support for Ukraine is the fastest way to peace, and to end the conflict in Ukraine, when Vladimir Putin sees that he cannot dominate Ukraine, he will find the only way to sit at the negotiating table.” However, in his message on the occasion of the New Year, Putin implicitly answered him and said: “This country will never give in to the West’s efforts to use Ukraine as a tool to destroy Russia.” In this regard, it is necessary to mention the joint opinions of Washington and Kyiv during the meeting between Ukrainian President Zelensky and American President Joe Biden a few days ago, that both sides emphasized the territorial integrity of Ukraine and joined hands to expel the Russians from the territory of Ukraine. They pressed hard and this is while Moscow thinks the opposite and does not consider parts of eastern Ukraine in the territory of the “Kiev” government and insists on this idea and strategy.

In recent days, the sensitivity of Europeans and Americans to the Russians is so high that, in addition to imposing the most severe sanctions against Moscow, they do not recognize any commercial relations between the governments with Russia and even the video calls of the leaders of the countries with Putin, as recently England, which is the agent of the United States in Europe It accused India of complicity with Russia due to the 413% increase in the volume of trade with Russia since the imposition of sanctions, and after the video call of the President of China with Putin, the US State Department warned Beijing to sanction the country if it helps Moscow. will give.

On the Russian front, as the evidence indicates and mentioned, there are no signs of slowing down and retreating to quell military conflicts. As such, it is unlikely that the conflict will end in 2023, unless a special and somewhat unpredictable development occurs or one of the two sides realizes that they will not achieve anything on the war front.
