Russia was Iran\u2019s main trading partner among Caspian states with 2.3 million tons worth $1.32 billion during the period under review. It was followed by Azerbaijan Republic with 459,974 tons worth $443.31 million, Turkmenistan with 797,977 tons worth $268.07 million and Kazakhstan with 508,724 tons worth $181.28 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iran\u2019s exports exceeded 2.28 million tons worth $1.16 billion during the period, registering a 6.7% and 36.22% rise in terms of weight and value YOY, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Azerbaijan was Iran\u2019s biggest export destination with 446,234 tons worth $420.81 million, followed by Russia with 761,062 tons worth $402.25 million, Turkmenistan with 770,862 tons worth $250.98 million and Kazakhstan with 305,354 tons worth $93.01 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Imports from the four countries under review hit 1.78 million tons worth $1.05 billion during the seven-month period, to register an 11.77% decline in terms of weight, but a 12.28% growth in terms of value YOY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Russia was the top exporter to Iran with 1.53 million tons worth $923.62 million. It was followed by Kazakhstan with 201,370 tons worth $88.27 million, Azerbaijan with 13,739 tons worth $22.5 million and Turkmenistan with 27,115 tons worth $17.08 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
