The Institute for Iran and Eurasia Studies (IRAS) is the first specialized and non-governmental research institute in Iran which started its activity in 2004. This institute was established with the aim of studying and analyzing various political, economic, social and cultural issues of the countries located in Eurasia and East and South Asia, as well as issues related to the relations of these countries with each other and with other states throughout the world, and especially the relations of these countries with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Over the past years, IRAS has published hundreds of strategic analyses, articles and reports for experts, interested people, academic community and decision-making institutions with the help of prominent Iranian and foreign experts. During these years, IRAS has tried to promote Eurasian studies and strengtheninternational scientific exchanges, and to bring the views and approachesof Iranian and Eurasian experts closer to each other in dealing with complicated issues through holding various domestic and internationalmeetings and conferences.
