On Saturday, August 22, 2026 (31 Mordad 1405 SH), the Institute for Iran-Eurasia Studies (IRAS) and the Scientific and Cultural Publishing Corporation (historically known as Franklin) formally established an institutional partnership across research, cultural, and publishing fields through the signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Mehdi Sanaei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IRAS, and Seyed Jamal Hadian Tabaei Zavareh, CEO of Scientific and Cultural Publications. Under this framework, both institutions agreed to execute joint initiatives aligned with their organizational missions and core areas of activity.
Key provisions of the agreement encompass co-publishing scholarly and cultural monographs, convening specialized symposia and thematic panels on socio-cultural affairs, compiling and publishing edited volumes derived from conference proceedings and expert roundtables, and identifying high-caliber manuscripts for publication.
The partnership also covers logistical and publishing infrastructure support, paper procurement under supplementary arrangements, joint determination of print runs and technical publication standards, and coordinated distribution of published titles and editorial services.
Following the signing ceremony, Dr. Mehdi Sanaei and an accompanying delegation toured the historical archives, museum, and co-working facilities of the Scientific and Cultural Publishing Corporation.
